So far, the children have talked about how a debate works, the structure of a debate and have been through possible topics. They are currently researching the pros and cons of Donald Trump being president ready for their first debate.

Poetry club will run every Monday and Wednesday lunchtime. Mrs Elley, one of our school governors, will be going through different poems with the children; discussing them and reading them aloud. The main aim of this lunchtime group is for children to develop their understanding of poetry, their confidence and public speaking skills.
